Thanks to Cendrine Marrouat and the Promptly Written community for this poetic structure and writing prompt on trees.

Trees are very kind if you get to know them (most of the time). As I was writing these two versions, I noticed that ‘scared’ and ‘sacred’ have the same letters. I’m not sure if that means anything, or not, but it is interesting to think about or feel about or just ponder.

Maybe it means we may grow into ourselves more authentically if we can allow ourselves to honor and rediscover what is important and meaningful, to note or observe what scares us, and give ourselves some room, like a tree, to grow into healing over time.

Thanks to Medium for providing a forum to rest, learn from others, process emotions and thoughts, and share what might be beneficial or interesting.

Maybe it’s not what we think but how we think that is important. “Go Forsythia!” (the introvert’s version of sports).
